Want a way to keep track of your fuel efficiency accurately? Then AccuFuel for your iPod Touch or iPhone is a great program for you. AccuFuel does the job perfectly allowing you to select your vehicle then when you fill up simply enter the required info and thats it.

AccuFuel has a large list of most major makes and models of cars with their estimated city and highway mileage. Once you have this info setup all you need to do is touch the plus sign that glows and add in how many gallons, what your odometer says, and you can even add in the price if you wish. Then next time you need to fill-up do the same thing and it will then start telling you the mileage you are getting per fill-up.

AccuFuel’s efficiency chart is a nice touch to show you how your mileage across all the fill-ups looks. Since I have only had two fill-ups so far the initial one and one additional it does not really have a well filled chart as that requires more fill-ups.

Want to change up the look of your Mac? Then I have found a little program for you called Kameleon. Kameleon allows you to change the look of all your windows and iTunes.

Kameleon has a great concept but at this time is lacking a bit just because there is not enough people making themes for it. The themes available only change the windows slightly. Which does make a small difference but not much of a noticeable one.

Kameleon is a very affordable customization tool and does change things up a bit. It has great potential when people create more themes for it and hopefully adds the ability to change the menu bar and dock as well.

Tired of having to type a password everytime you want to logon to your Mac? Then I have found a solution called Rohos Logon Key. It allows you to take any USB drive and turn it into a key that will log you in and out of your Mac securely.

Rohos Logon Key is a nifty program that allows you to easily secure your Mac with just a USB drive. Once you install Rohos Logon Key and launch it simply attach the USB drive you want to use as the logon key and click the Choose USB Key device and select your USB drive. It will then ask you to type your password and just like that all you now need to do to secure your Mac when you step away is pull out your USB drive and it automatically logs you off and you can not log back on unless you plug your drive back in.

Rohos Logon Key does a great job though you can not access the preferences which makes using the program a bit more difficult since you can not change any settings. I also experienced that it would not log me in by inserting my USB key after a restart. In this case I think that if I could access the preferences as shown in the video on their site I would be able to fix this problem. This problem degrades the overall experience for me as the prefrences is listed in the menu but is grayed out and inaccessible.

Overall Rohos Logon Key is a great program and it works like a charm aside from the lack of being able to access the preferences. It removes the hassle of typing in your password and replaces it by simply plugging in a USB drive. I would reccommend Rohos Logon Key once they fix the problem of not being able to access the preferences as this takes away from some of its functionality. Looking for a great program to organize your everyday tasks? Then I have the perfect solution for you called Todo. Todo is a Todo program for your iPhone or iPod Touch that does a fantastic job of helping you stay focused on what needs to be done.

Todo syncs with toodledo and remember the milk to have your tasks in a safe place incase something happens to your iPhone or iPod Touch. You can also use the syncing ability to add tasks from your computer and then sync them to your device. The only service I personally sync with is toodledo and it works like a charm.

Todo allows you to create tasks that repeat. You can set a task to repeat daily, weekly, monthly and more. Being able to set tasks to repeat is great for things you need to do frequently to save time on entering them. I use the repeatitive tasks for such things as feeding the cat, checking mail, wii fit, working on my site and more.

The coolest thing about Todo is that there is over thirty custom strikeouts for you to choose from on how your completed task is marked off. This is not a necessary thing but makes Todo extremely unique as well as allowing you to make it more personal.

File Guard X5 stands up to everything written in my review of File Guard X4 and has a few improvements which is what I will be focusing on. The first is now with Leopard you can use 256bit encryption for your safes in File Guard X5 which brings the overall strength of protection up. The user interface has not changed much except the addition of different styles of safes. Those are the only couple of differences that I have noticed.

Have a ton of movies, music, books, games and gadgets, but do not have an efficient way to keep track of it all? Then Delicious Library 2 is the perfect solution for you. Delicious Library 2 allows you to effectively manage and search your collection.

To add any game, movie, CD, book or gadget you can simply use a built in iSight on any new Mac computer or and external iSight. All you do is line up the barcode to where it appears on the red scan lines which marks the ideal spot for Delicious Library 2 to read the barcode. You can also add it by searching titles or typing in the barcode.

Delicious Library 2 will only run on Leopard as it uses several of Leopards features. When you add a movie you see an empty case fill like a glass of water to create the cover of your movie. When you delete a title from your collection it bursts into colorful confetti.

Delicious Library 2 is currently in the Beta stage of development, but seems to be extremely stable. It does however suffer a minor drawback as sometimes it does not want to scan the barcode with the iSight after several attempts. This is only a minor drawback as if you add by searching for the title and say you want to add a season of South Park the search will bring up all the seasons of it and you can add them all at the same time by holding the apple key and clicking on the ones you want to add then press the Add button.

Delicious Library 2 will be available shortly and should maintain the same price point as the original version which is an affordable $40. Dream Recorder 2 uses your iSight which may be an external one or the one built into all newer Macs. Using your iSight and some filtering Dream Recorder 2 can record you while you sleep. You need to place the iSight within 3 feet and make sure it is pointed at your upper body. Dream Recorder 2 then determines your sleep states by the movements it detects.

Dream Recorder 2 has the ability to play a sound or song somewhere in a specified timeframe which spans about an hour. So say you want to be up at 9am then you would set the range from 8-9am and Dream Recorder 2 will then determine the best time in that frame to play the sound or song to wake you up. It does this by determining the best point in your sleep cycle to wake you.

Dream Recorder 2 displays your sleep activity in a well presented graph. Your dream periods are lit up with a spot light. Dream Recorder 2 will also if you choose when you are dreaming play a sound so you can tell what your dreaming about and it will be recorded for you to playback at your convenience.

Overall Dream Recorder 2 is a great program. It does though have a minor drawback is that it is limited by your iSight and relies heavily upon correct positioning of the camera. While these are not directly the fault of Dream Recorder 2 it does affect it a bit as most people will not want to get a better iSight or other camera to use for this sole purpose. So you want to create a convienent way to store all your important files or have a simple way to share files with friends but not sure how? DropDMG will be of great use for you as it will allow you to creat your very own dmg file by simply dragging and dropping the file or folder onto DropDMG and it works its magic.

DropDMG can be used to fulfill many different needs. One of which is the possibility of making creating backups quite a bit easier. Simply drag the desired folder onto DropDMG and it will compress and create a dmg file for you which is significantly smaller than the files by themselves. I took a folder that get info said was about 4GB and tossed it into DropDMG and when it was finished the dmg file was only a bit over 1.5GB saving around 2.5GB of space which makes a folder that I could not previously save to my flash drive fit.

DropDMG can also encrypt the file or folder you wish to create a dmg out of and protect it by a password of your choosing. Another thing DropDMG can be used for is to bundle up your software for easy distribution to your customers.

Making a bootable backup of your startup volume could not be easier. All you need to do is select bootable backup select the source which, is typically your Mac HD then your destination which would be your external hard drive. Then you just press start and off it goes. The initial backup will take a great deal longer than subsequent backups. My initial backup took almost 8hrs as I had set to repair permissions and repair my destination volume after the backup finished to ensure a reliable backup. Want to create a website but do not want to be tied to the limited funcionality of iWeb? RapidWeaver is an absolutely outstanding program to use to build your website. RapidWeaver is extremely easy to use and it is also very powerful.

Setting up RapidWeaver is just as simple as installing all OS X programs. Just run RapidWeaver and click the little plus sign in the lower left corner and select the type of page and you are on your way. Once you have the page you want to work on added you can change the theme by clicking the button in the lower right corner next to the publish button. Unlike iWeb if you decide later that you do not like the theme you have selected you may go back and change it to one that better suites you. In iWeb if you wanted to change your theme you would have to completely rebuild your site.

Once you have added all the pages you want and have saved your site you can publish it directly to your host by clicking the publish button and inputting the necessary information. Then in a few moments time your website will be uploaded and ready to be viewed online. If you are not pleased by the themes offered that are preinstalled you may visit the RapidWeaver site and download additional ones. Once downloaded all you have to do is double click on the theme file and it will tell you that it has been installed. You may then select your newly added theme just as you would the others.

Leopard is the new cat in town and you better look out as it is fierce. Leopard offers a wealth of new features. Leopard is a very well improved over Tiger.

Once I had received my copy of Leopard I immediately opened it up and began the installation process. I decided to let it just do all the defaults and upgrade from Tiger. The update only took about 30 minutes. Once it was complete I found the system a bit unstable and would lock up. So I ran the install again and completely wiped my hard drive and did a fresh install. The fresh install took about 45 minutes and when it was completed it ran flawlessly. However, I did an upgrade install on my parents computer and it worked without a hitch so there had to of been some kind of conflict that caused mine to have issues.

Leopard appears to boot up quicker than Tiger did as well as runs a bit faster in general. Without even going past the desktop when Leopard loads for the first time you can notice many of the upgrades. The new overall appearance, stacks, spaces and time machine.

Time machine offers a way to backup your system without much effort. Though if you want to backup your system with a bit more control I would suggest a third-party application.

Spaces is a great way to keep your work organized. By being able to go back and forth between spaces. With the addition of spaces it is easy to be doing many tasks at once without having a ton of windows on your desktop.

Stacks is a great new idea that allows you to easily browse what is in a folder from your dock. To add a stack all you need to do is drag a folder to the dock and it will link to the folders location and display the contents from the dock.

Overall I believe Leopard to be a great new overhaul of what was already a great operating system. Leopard comes in two different packs a single license and a family pack which is 5 licenses. The Review:

Fission is an excellent program for your audio editing needs. Fission is not only a powerful audio editor it is also easy to use.

Fission is so simple to use after playing with it for a few minutes you can figure out how to do just about everything you can with it. The things you are having trouble figuring out can simply be solved by viewing the help guide.

Fission works great for removing unwanted audio from tracks. It also works great to make short clips of a specific part of your favorite songs and save them as a separate MP3 file which you then can so long as your phone and computer have bluetooth send the clip over and you have a new ringtone that you just created.
After running Fission for the first time it took me about 10 minutes to figure it out and then took me about another 10 minutes to create 5 or 6 music clips to be used as ringtones.

Overall Fission is an excellent audio editing program and is a very affordable solution with a minimal price tag of $32. Fission works beautifully for all the audio editing tasks that I have needed to work on so far and I highly recommend it. The iPod Touch is without a doubt the best iPod yet. With the iPod Touch you can not only listen to your music, but also browse the internet as long as you are connected to a wireless network while listening to your music. The multi-touch screen is absolutely amazing.

Whatever you would like to do simply tap the icon with your finger and you are on your way. If you are in the music section and turn the iPod Touch horizontally it will completely change how you are used to browsing your music. You will be taken from the typical sort by song, artist or album into coverflow which allows you to flip through all your music by the covers of each album. Once you find an album you want to see the songs for tap the album and it will flip over and display the tracks and tap a track to begin playing that song or tap the cover again to return to browsing.

Watching videos is very enjoyable on the iPod Touch as the screen is 3.5 inches so it is quite a bit bigger than those of the traditional iPods and has a higher resolution. You browse your videos in the vertical position and once you select a video it will start playing horizontally on the screen. The same holds true for watching videos from YouTube. Except that you will go into the YouTube option rather than the Video.

You may also sync Photos to your iPod Touch for your viewing pleasure or to just change up your wallpaper once in a while. The iPod Touch will sync with iCal. Though you can not add or edit events on the iPod Touch for the Calendar. The iPod Touch also allows you to sync with your Address Book. Unlike the Calendar application you can edit and add new contacts on the iPod Touch and they will sync to your computer the next time you connect the iPod Touch.

The iPod Touch also introduces a new way to add songs to your collection without having to be at your computer. The iTunes Wireless Store allows you to browse, preview and download new music to your iPod Touch and then the next time you connect to your computer the newly downloaded songs will be added to your library on your computer. This is a great way to pick up new songs as you can do it anywhere you can pick up a wireless network.

Overall the iPod Touch is an amazing device which will surely revolutionize the MP3 player market. There are a few drawbacks to the iPod Touch however, the fact that the Mail application that is on the iPhone was not included and you can not add or edit events in the Calendar. Both would round out the already great use and functionality of the iPod Touch. I have also come across a few instances where I was listening to music while browsing the internet and the music would just cut out at times. Jax is a nice program to add on to iTunes. With the ability to easily add lyrics, change your Album Art and convert videos to go onto your iPod. Jax is really easy to use and enhances your iTunes experience.

Jax has perfectly converted a few videos in a somewhat short amount of time. Adding lyrics to your music is easy though can take quite a while as you have to go song by song as opposed to be able to adding the lyrics for an entire album at a time.

With Jax you can also convert your favorite flash based video such as those on YouTube and load them on your iPod. You simply have to drag the link into Jax and watch it do its magic. You can also click on Music Map and it will show you information about the band or singer you select mainly who is in that band.

Ever delete a picture you took from your camera or memory card by accident? This is where Klix comes in. Klix is a great picture recovery program to rescue your picture.

Klix can even after formatting the card in most cases can find and restore pictures. When I ran Klix I was rather skeptical as to how well it would perform. At first it brought up the most recent pictures that I had deleted which was no big surprise but as I looked at pictures further down the list I saw pictures that were a year possibly even older.

Klix is without a doubt a great program and super easy to use. All you need to do is connect your camera/memory card and load Klix then hit start and it will do the rest. Data Backup 3 is an excellent backup utility. You can create very specific backups or just clone your entire Mac HD to have a bootable backup.

Data Backup 3 is real simple to use and does its job well. If you want the most out of your backup I highly recommend using the clone option and checking the complete scan box just to make sure you have an exact copy of your drive to provide a way to completely recover your system in case of a massive failure.

With the scheduling abilities of Data Backup 3 there is no excuse for you to not be able to run frequent backups to always have an up to date copy of your system on another drive. I recommend backing up at least once a month and right before you make any major changes to several files or programs. Since Data Backup 3 will wake your computer from sleep or even have it turn on to do your backup it makes the process a lot more simple and hassle free.

Delicious Library is an absolutely amazing program that you must own if you have a lot of music, games , books and DVDs. Delicious Library is a very innovative program that allows you to scan all of your media with your iSight and looks it up on Amazon and adds it to your Library.

To scan in my whole collection of games, movies, books and music only took about 30 minutes after getting the hang of it. There are a variety of ways to view your titles in their respective categories. You may also create your own shelf with whatever items you want on it for quicker viewing.

If you have trouble getting the barcode to scan you can always enter it in manually or search for the item by title. When you successfully scan an item it will beep and then say the name of the item. Yeah thats right the program talks to you.

Overall Delicious Library is a great program and has made my life much easier for when I am looking for a movie to watch or to see if I have a certain book. The JBL On Time is without a doubt the best home sound dock so far. It provides amazing sound and volume. The fact that it will also function as a radio, clock and an alarm clock makes it a must have.

The JBL On Time is extremely easy to setup and the menus are really easy to navigate and make sense. You can set up to two alarms and you can also select the frequency of the alarms from just once to every day.

Waking up to your iPod could not be simpler. Simply set your alarm and the source for the alarm to iPod and you will be waking up to a song from your iPod every day. The only slight draw back is despite the manual saying you can wake up to a specific song after following the directions verbatim it still did not work and just played a random song. That is a very minor draw back as I enjoy waking up to a random song every day.

If you want to fall asleep to your iPod simply set the sleep timer which can be set for up to 90 minutes.
